This is a fine art photography print of a bison which I took at Yellowstone National Park in September 2021. This classic Yellowstone scene shows wisps of steam rising from hot springs in the background while a buffalo happily grazes in the late summer fields. This is a scene I never tire of. A scene which awes me and humbles me and gives me excited butterflies in my stomach as I grab my telephoto lens. But sometimes while I was in Yellowstone, I felt sympathy for the animals, always being watched and followed by a crowd of people and vehicles. It just doesn’t seem like that’s what it’s meant to be like. But it’s my hope that these beautiful and powerful beasts can act as ambassadors for the animal kingdom and for the importance of protecting our planet and the species that call it home. There is always a fine line between allowing people access to parklands and limiting them to avoid damage, and there are experts who know much more about how to set these limits than me, but I hope that the growing popularity of the National Parks mean that people are coming to realize the importance and beauty of our natural resources and have more interest in stewarding them well.

Sustainability

What does it mean that these prints are “end-to-end carbon neutral”? It means that energy usage is minimized by the printer wherever possible and energy comes from suppliers of renewable energy.  Where unavoidable, all of the carbon emissions created by the printer are offset via The Gold Standard and funding projects aimed at creating a safer climate and more sustainable world.

Each of my fine art prints uses hand picked archival art paper with Giclée style printing.  Giclée printing means the images are higher resolution with unrivaled color accuracy.  My prints use fade-resistant, archival inks meaning they will look just as beautiful as the day you got it for the next 80 years.

Sizing

There are 4 different print sizes available for purchase, each with the option of no border or a 1/2 inch white border around the outside of the printed area for matting, accounting for 8 different purchase options.  Custom sizes, paper type, matting and framing are also available upon request.
